In attempting to change oil pan gasket, a cover came off with 2 rear bolts that is marked 8RT-6421 on the inside. It is aluminum and has a rubber seal which appears to go against bearing at rear of crankshaft. Have been able to locate this part or rubber seal to replace at back. Mine has a crack in the metal and seal is hard and torn.
I have seen listings for part number 8RT-6410-S that looks the same but that part has escaped my location abilities so far. Somewhere I saw the rubber seal portion is 8RT-6425. I have a crack in the aluminum piece and would like to replace the whole thing if possible.
Does anyone know of a source for the 8RT-6410-S or the 6425 rubber seal? NPD says the 6410 part is no longer available to them.
