Flying Quail

I've been looking at the flying quail from Snyder's, has anyone had problems with them ?

Seems like I read here awhile back someone said they had a problem with it leaking or not fitting just right.

I think they look great on the "A" ,.... Thanks for any comment's.

I purchased the thermo quail from Snyders and I am very satisfied. You would be surprised how many people notice the thermometer in the birds butt !

I have one of their quails, and also have one of their radiators. I had to use a dremel tool with a grinding bit to grind the quail down aroung the allen screw locks, so it fit in the neck of the rad. It would not go in far enough to allow the locks to catch on the bottom of the neck.

once i got it on its tight and I am very happy with the look. And yes people notice it.

I have bought and used two Quails on cars I have rehabbed...they have performed satisfactorily. They are all made in California by a company I cannot recall right now. I have ordered repair kits from them and they are also satisfactory.
