Floorboard accessory?

This part came off an old '28 floorboard. Anyone recognize it? Starter or throttle accessory. It appears to extend the reach of something coming through the floorboard. I have never seen one before.

I'd say for the gas pedal. Very cool.

it is a starter pedal for a 28-29 the two holes in it will line up with the two screws in your starter rod grommet. it lets you push the starter and throttle at the same time.
