Floor question?

28 Tudor. Started on the flooring, and I need to know, is there any sort of support for the heel-board at the front edge where it meets up with the toe-board? What stops it from flexing in this area? Does it have a physical connection with the toe-board that stops it flexing?
I've searched heaps and cannot find any pics that sgow me what I need to know.
Thanks, Marty.

There are a few sturdy metal fingers that hold two boards together . Boards also bevell edged to get correct angle of two surfaces; clear as mud??
Re front body mounts, you really need a pic. from someone. Bracket below firewall back to metal toe board. Wood mount is inside lower cowl panel, if that makes sense.
If you can not get pics let me know & will send later from here [nz]

The braces were made with 1" x1/8" flatbar and extended about 6" up and 8" on the flat. They are easy enough to make if you have the drawings or a sample. Sorry, I don't. If you are going in for fine point you can research it more, if not, just make your own if you feel you need them....
