I have a jack which appears identical to A17080-A in the Judging standards, except that it has the hole in the flip-top like the picture showing A17080, which is pictured adjacent to it on page 17-2, 1997 edition. It makes me think the illustrator may have put the flip top on the wrong jack? It is probably Oct, 1928 thru Nov, 1929, for you purists. I have also a tire pump which appears identical to A-17052-A2 on page 17-3 of the Standards. Email prs518@live.com, for pictures or other info if you need more. I ask $100 for the tire pump (unobtanium). It needs
the hose shortened as kinking over near the pump outlet has caused bad hose there (or a new hose). Really nice wood handle. I accept paypal.

a jacks 002.JPGThanks for the input, gentlemen. The jack, in every feature is like the dash-A jack, except that it does have the flip top?? Got me, I am no model A expert for sure, but that is the way the jack is. I will post a picture. Yes, I agree my tire pump is not Model a after all, the outlet is on the wrong side. thanks!

I think I am best to concede the notion with a big thank you! the reinforcement you speak of is opposite on this one...more of a corrugated dimple opposite the handle!
Thanks again, and I may have a buyer anyway. I will inform him, but he not all that particular anyway! Identical....except......da dada! Thanks once again!
