Flexible fule line recomendation

The check valve may be for folks that have changed to an electric pump back by the tank. Folks do al sorts of mods on old cars whether they are an easy fix or not. The OEM was good enough for grandpop to it's good enough for me as long as it keeps functioning and parts are available.

That hadn't occurred to me, but I must admit, that's a good possibility.
I do realize I tend to think along "originality" lines. And, like you, see no reason why these cars can't operate as they were designed.

RE: Bob Shewman
To Alan and others;
I talked with Bob today about getting another Fuel Line and he said his wife passed about 2 months ago and he has broken his hand so no Fuel Hose.
He sounded like he is giving up his business., like all of us, we are getting older. Hopefully he will start up again.

Does anyone have an extra new Bob Sherman flexible fuel hose available ? Would like to purchase 1 or more. Will also post a WANTED ad. Thanks

i simply bought a couple of feet of black rubber-ish fuel hose at NAPA and am using that between the fuel pump and the hard-line from the tank. i also use it on two of my other vintage cars without issue.

Mike, you can always take one of your NOS lines to a place that makes up tubing (fuel, air, oil etc) lines and have them put new ethanol proof rubber on your ends.
