Flathead v8 carburetor rebuild kit

Lots of choices, through this board. In addition to above, I like Ken - he's sold me good stuff. There is also Charlie, Uncle Max, (which I haven't tried), etc.

X 2 (or 3?). Ken will supply a kit that will live with 10% ethanol plus it will have a power valve that fits.

approx. a year ago i checked Ford 94 carb kits at NAPA, Carquest, Advanced, and Autozone. Cheapest was Autozone $15.99 when ordered online and shipped to local store. More $ when ordered @ local store. Part number 96-478. I just checked - same price today. I had good luck with them. By the way, all the kits were exactly the same, made by Standard Motor Products and private labeled.

If you need anything in the way of parts for a 97, a complete rebuild of your 97 core, or a nice new English built Stromberg 97 carburator, you can not beat Uncle Max. If you need something for a 94 contact Charlie, ny. There are some other possibilities like 1952Henry and others who have already been mentioned. Plenty of good help right here on the Barn.

Thanks for the plug, but can't do carburetors for a spell as we moved and I haven't gotten my blaster, plating equipment, and chromating supplies set up yet.

Well, the best thing about the guys mentioned above is that you will get the correct parts for your rebuild. And when you cannot figure out how to get that little teeny ball installed at the bottom of the accelerator pump bore, just call or email them for personal help.
