For sale is a Ford "hogshead" flathead bellhousing from the '48 to '53 F-series trucks. This is the piece you need to use with an adapter plate to mate a GM T5 transmission to the flathead motors. The part just needs a trip thru the gunk tank before using and is in good condition. The adapter plates used with this housing are available from several sources. Dwight Bond in Gibbon, Nebraska, for one, has advertised them in the past. Not always an easy part to find. Get one here while you can. Price is $50 plus shipping.
