Flathead smokes a little

I just fired up my 40 after sitting a couple years and the Flathead seems to smoke a little. Maybe a stuck ring or two? Anything additive I can put in the oil to maybe help Thanks, Jim

Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas tank and crank case. Follow the instuctions on the container.

AND in each cylinder an oz or two and let it sit, 24/48/ how much time do have ?? ...
