This adaptor allows u to use a late model 6 blade fan on to a 8ba flathead V-8 that uses narrow type belts .Must use a 50-53 Mercury fan and hub assembly for this application. This adaptor will move the fan a 1/2 inch closerto radiator, so make sure u have the room.
