flathead engine number question

I have two flathead blocks and I cant seem to find the build date from them they are, there stamped on the block

From what I understand Ford after 1931 did not stamp numbers that correspond to build dates on the engine blocks.The transmission's were stamped then the chassis with the matching number.Some engine rebuilders often stamped the blocks they worked on.

The 8BA engines from 1948 up ( but not all ) had date codes stamped on the intake manifold surface.

I would say the majority of 8BA blocks were not stamped, judging from the many I have taken apart.
