flat tire--be prepared

I took my 1936 ford truck out for a ride in busy silcon valley ( san fransico bay area ) and just got on the freeway going 60mph when a big construction truck passed and I thought it was his wind blowing me over to the shoulder but I just happen to have the right front tire blow out and got a little high speed wobble. It took a little more distance to stop than I thought.

Wellthere is nothing better than to be stranded on the freeway watching traffic pass you by. So, I told myself I bet I can have this tire changed in a half our and be on my way. Luckily I had all I needed.

Jeff, better right side than left side, could get hurt by a careless driver up there. glad every thing turned out good, you have a great looking truck. Harold, central coast Ca.

glad that everything was ok, in my 36 truck i had tires that where 40 pluss years old
and i had no jack or tools to change a tire. i got new ones she rides better.
