Flat Head Transmission

I have an early Ford automatic transmission and I'm trying to figure out what it is, when it was made, and what it is worth. The tag has 2 sets of numbers the first set is 1( or I) P-7003-C, the second set of numbers is 4-120349. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

The 1P-7003-C was the Ford-O-Matic/Merc-O-Matic transmission. The initial number for 1951 was 1P-7003-A but somewhere in the 51 production it changed to the 1P-7003-C and kept the dash number "C" at least through 1952. With swap outs and overhauls the "C" dash number could have ended up an any of the early automatic transmission cars at least up to 1953. After the Y-block engines came out, the numbers changed to indicate the different mate ups with the different overhead valve engines plus they usually indicated the later FoMoCo numbering system that started in 53/54.

They will be somewhat valuable to folks who continue to use them and need the spare parts. All of my cars are manual or overdrive types so I don't keep up with the values of these units.
