Yesterday was the day for this part I made.

This was our 46 for the holiday cruise. I hope the pretend soldier doesn't think we are "lefty loonies". John

Wonder what the comment will be about my POW-MIA flags I ordered from Nam vets, Those are for veterans day, I also have Santa flags for USMC toys for Tots, I have a set of reproduction staff car flags from the Reich, not THE evil symbol, these are waffen sturm trooper staff car flags, got them from Germany, but still not a nice thing to put on the Truck, not good for business. I collect reproduction flags.

Looks great Frank. We should always remember the POW's and MIA's .Anyone who has a problem with these flags should live somewhere else..Semper Fi.

I agree with you, I was the only one on my street to fly the flag , what does that tell you, if they had to fight for flag they might know what it all means to me .Harold, central coast Ca.

I didn't even look this year, but usually it's still less than 30% on our block. I make up for though, as I have 1 big flag and 5 little ones. :D

Nice mount Frank. Is it screwed on from the inside?

I had a friend give me a vintage 5 flag holder that he'd been saving for decades. Maybe when the cabriolet is done, it can go on that one.

He has them on each fender.

According to the United States Flag Code, section 3(b) "The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motor car, the staff should be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender."

Seems there is some wiggle room there.

Yes I have one on each fender, I may intermix a proper US flag with an earlier flag, I have been told that in that instance the proper flag is to be displayed prominently higher, on JFK's limo, he had the US flag and his presidential seal flag, I am confused at to how I remember the display, I know they were attached to the fenders, were they sided properly?
