Fitting gas tank

This post started 2 years ago. One would figure he got it in or sold the car parts by now.

Yes, I saw that but got scolded once when I questioned bringing an old post 'out of the grave'. Now I just play along, ....albeit this "sandbox" ain't near as much fun to play in these days like it was a few years ago.

I'll go back ever further than a few years.....surely the factory did not have all these complications about getting a gas tank into place....why do we have the problems?
