First time in 61 years

Great job Neal. Keep the pictures coming. I had a similar experience getting a Model A pickup from my uncle George back in high school days (1950's). After high school it sat till last year. Yes it is a great experience that first time it runs after many years.

Mike's comments are important. It is not worth the liability you may get yourself into by driving it without proper paperwork. Yes the police may not stop you but if someone else gets involved with your rig, the lawsuits would not be worth it.

I left my trunk in place, tons of space for packing tools and luggage when touring.
Yes yes on replacing the fan, it is not a question if it will break but when. Almost took out a brand new radiator with what was a perfect condition fan. They are dangerous!

With the history that car has, you've got a real treasure. I love unrestored cars. Enjoy, and watch out for the cops!!

Nice job getting your A running.
It sounds great!
Don't restore it, leave it like it is and have fun driving it.
Remember it is only original once!

Thats a ggreat moment, i have the same feeling when i start my Tudor 1928 for the first time..on that time it have stand still, i a old garage vere it was from 09-1965 till 08-2010.. Så i was werry happy when the engine runs for 1. time.. it is a speciel feeling...
