First DRIVE in 61 years

Awesome those kids are as excited as you!!! teach how to drive it and have some fun!!

Awesome, kind of sums it up but, that beautiful statement, "[Daddy] Now all you have to do is change it" really lets you know that you have just begun a real adventure.

But, do the brakes first.

Good show, looks like the kids were pretty excited about seeing the Model A under power! Keep up the good work and you will have it on the road before you know it.

Thanks for sharing!

Before the coupe emerged from the garage, I was worried that exhaust fumes had asphyxiated the driver.

Then I wondered about the brakes and the driver's familiarity with the "A's" turning radius.

When he got into second gear coming back up the driveway, I concluded that all was well.

Considering the joy of all involved, I think that this coupe's gray primer should be called (even though I know it's incorrect for a '31) "Bonnie Gray."

Keep enjoying and sharing your experiences.

How exciting taking your first drive!
All the hard work and sometimes frustration has paid off.
I am happy for you and your new way of seeing the world from your Model A.

That was awesome. I remember when my kids were that young and got as excited when I got my old harleys running. Now I cant wait to get my coupe done so I can have that thrill of driving a Model A. Good luck with it, enjoy and thanks for sharing.
