Truly amazing, 11 reply’s telling me that I shouldn’t want what I want?
It’s a time honored tradition here, along with responding to “How is this done?” with “I’ve never needed to do that so I don’t know.”
Well, I initially didn't answer because I thought it was a dumb idea for several reasons. Most notably, mounting a battery on the passenger side in the same location as the Fuel Sediment Bulb seemed to me as not the best location. Mounting a lead-acid anything directly above a hot exhaust system does not seem prudent either. Third, long Battery cables generally cause voltage drop (-especially on 6v systems) and cleanly routing them away from Throttle assembly seemed difficult. But again, I never put one there in that location so who am I to offer suggestions on the best way to do it??
Regarding the refraining from commenting, on second thought it does seem there are plenty of others here that do freely give advice on topics they have never done, so maybe I should have made that number 12.
Colin, regarding your comment, I whole heartedly agree. Maybe since over 230+ ppl have read this thread, ...and over 200 ppl that didn't respond means by percentages, over 90% made a positive statement too.
