Fire truck at meet. POINTS ?

I have a 31 AA fire truck, does anyone have any pics of this truck?

Not sure if you mean a/any '31 fire truck, ...or the one that was at the show. Here is Rob Mill's fire truck in the show, ...and coming out of the building;

this is my 31 AA FIRE TRUCK WITH INDENTED FIREWALL, ALSO HAS A AMERICAN LA FRANCE BODY FROM THE SEAT BACK

Why was it moved by man power? Does it not run, or did the hotel not allow driving of the cars?

The hotel required we push all vehicles in & out of the building. They had a rope with a T-bar on one end along with a hook on the other end to assist with moving the cars. There were two or three 'hefty' guys that did a fantastic job of pulling the cars. They also had blue tarps they covered the carpet on the floor with while the cars were being moved, --and a nice black fiberboard "mat" to put under the cars while they were on display.

I would like to see a MARC fire truck special interest grup get started as I ma helping do a 29 and have the Illinois Fire Museum in my neighborhood,
Is there any interest???
Ken
