Well the new crawfish is home but I have a couple questions: This was sold to me as 1942 but I'm thinking that the 2-speed axle dates it a little younger than 1942, I is this correct? Also looking at the dash in the truck perhaps the cab is a 1942 and the axle was added in its history to get rid of the split axle that I thought would be in the 1942 build. I'm not changing the crawfish one bit love it just as is, just want to clear my mind.:D

Nice!!

So Cajun, Where does the "cajuncrawfish" handle come from? I see from your profile you are located in MI.

Just curious since I am in South Louisiana.

Those Eaton 2-speeds had a vacuum shift starting in 1945.Earlier models had a mechanical shift with a lever in the cab.
