This week i'm finally starting on the carb rebuild. Is there any common problems/complications anyone seems to find during the rebuild? But other than that, i am ready to start! :D

Just make sure you clean everything really well and use compressed air to ensure that all passageways are clear before you start reassembly. Also, make sure all matting surfaces are clean and true. Have fun.:)

Make sure you work in an area where the floor is shaped like a funnel so that any small part that you drop rolls to where you can find it.:):D

Heres some pics of it taken apart. and thanks guys for the advice/reminders!

Most important part of a carb rebuild is getting the correct kit. Lots of bad kits out there.

The cool thing about rebuilding a carb is that once you do one, they're all pretty much the same, but just a little different.

It's kind of like dating...

Its done! My first carb rebuild! After a few scares with it, its finally done! No leaks and everything is back where it should be! Tomorrow will be the real test.... Seeing if the car runs successfully! Its my first carb rebuild, so i'm really anxious to see if it works... :p

Here's the Before and After!

I have to say, that was quite easy... I'm going to have to do that for a living! :D Well, more of a side hobby. :p

Lookin' good!;) Glad everything worked out for you.:) What's next on your list?

Thinking about installing turn signals. Im a 21st century boy! :p not a fan of hand signals. I'll use 'em if i have to. Then in the winter, on to the floor boards

Alright, it started right up! Made a few adjustments for the idle, but other than that, worked like a charm!
