Julst a little update with a couple of pics. I am totally redoing rear end and it is fun. I am kinda anal as my my old buddy Richard Hemm from Eldon IA would say. OH well. I took apart the rear spring, bead blasted each leaf til rust free and then just painting then with Expoxy this afternoon. Interesting process of prepping and painting each l leaf! I used the Southern Polyrurethane Expoxy I had heard so much about and was very impressed. I have been painting these damn horseless carriages for 53 years (started at 12 when my Dad let me paint a running 55 Packard junk yard runner with all kinds of left over enamels he let me have. Anyhow, here are picks of how it turned out. Next should include pics of total differential tear down and re assembly...has been fun. Total repaint too. kinda a homemade leaf hanging affair...odd but sure works...used cheap 3/8 threaded rods and a couple pounds of plain ol 3/8 nuts. Notice the whole contraption right in front of my exhaust fan....not open during pics.

Pics next post....could get the fuc##### thing to work.

Try again.....
