What is the filter size/brand for the oil filter that goes on the style that is on the side timing gear cover.

This is what I have listed for the filter that goes on the side of the valve cover. I think they also fit the side of the timing gear cover.

Pennzoil - PZ-1

Fram - PH8A

AC - PF-2, PF-20

Motocraft - FL-1A3

Napa - 1515

Lee - LF-2

I read somewhere here that Wix 51515 is also a good number. I hope so, 'cause I have some on the way.

Carl, If I remember correctly, Wix 51515 and Napa 1515 are the same filter. Think your'e OK.
