fifty one ford pickup rear engine mount

[FIFTY ONE PICK UP]

Hey folks,
what is that hard black substance around the rear motor mount on my 51 ford pickup it is between the 2 mounting straps. I'm restoring the truck and can't find that stuff anywhere in any catalogs. It seems like it came with the straps just not sure.
Any suggestions.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Larry
