Fiber idler gear

I do not know if this will be of any assistance but if you have the old gear and can determine the outer diameter and number of teeth. You could try Boston gear. They handle a large variety of gear sizes and you may be able to find a match. Some time ago I saw an article of hobbing small gears at home on a small lathe for telescope drives. I think they used various pitched screws as hobs if I recall correctly. I know this is going out some but may be of use I hope.

I came across a site: modelawipers.com in stockton, ca who rebuilds model a wipers. His phone is 209-986-5588. he sells parts for owen dyneto. Might want to give him a call. I do not know anything about him just trpped over his site...:)

Hi Carsbob, It is me again...I was looking through Snyders catalog last night and I see they have a listing for gears for wiper motors although not yours, however you might contact them to see if theirs may fit your EA labs unit. You will want some measurements like number of teeth, outside diameter and size of the center hole. Hope this helps. Jim 170A
