K Kevin in NJ Well-known member Jan 25, 2011 #3 You can tell the year by the notch where the splash apron fits. For 28-29 it is not very deep and has a very rounded top. For 30-31 it is deeper and has a rounded right angle corner. Roadster coupe and pickup (narrow bed) are all the full width top. A narrow cut in top is a sedan fender.

d.j. moordigian Well-known member Jan 25, 2011 #4 It's a " 29 ", the !928 is different were it bolts to the body. The 28 is scalloped between the bolt holes. Odd it doesn't have a tail lite holes, maybe a PU? Goldssky, send me the fender. Dudley

K Kevin in NJ Well-known member Jan 25, 2011 #6 My understanding is they are all the same, just the notch is different for the splash apron. I do not have any practical experience with the early fenders to say this for fact.
