Fender brackets

I can’t seem to find the right brackets for my 29 model a. I am supposed to have 29 Fordor fenders. I have brackets from a 30 pickup and I bought a set at a swap meet which are supposed to be from a 29 (something) and neither seem to fit. I am trying to build a Huckster using a 29 Fordor body. Are there different bracket for different body styles. Thanks

If the pair of brackets does not fit your 28-29 front fenders, they are probably the early 1930 cast brackets. The correct 28-29 brackets are always available at swap meets and e-bay at a range of prices. Take some measurements of the set you have and compare before you buy so you don't end up with another pair of the early 30's. Also note how bent up these brackets can get. They can be straightened by heating and bending.
