FDE 12127 Distributor identification please

I have what appears to be a NOS distributor.
FOMOCO metal tag with FDE 12127 on it.
Any clues?

FDE 12127-A is 54-55 with a 317 C.I. engine
FDE 12127-B is 54-55 with a 279 C.I. engine.
Odd truck stuff, I have some too and have never had the heart to throw it away.
F 750 and above applications.

There are two on eBay with no sales history showing so I'm sure a slow seller. Joblot stocked stuff like that years ago. Miss those guys.

Those Big Y-blocks used their own accessories. Its getting hard to get parts for any of the Big Y-blocks such as ones used in Lincolns and Big Job trucks like the F7/F700 and F8/F800.trucks.
