Fan help

I have a '49 Merc 8CM in a '46 pickup and it has the Merc car fan on it. Ideally the fan should be half in and half out of the shroud, but it's almost 2 inches too far forward. I'm looking for something without the spacer between the fan and pulley to get the fan properly aligned in the shroud. What am I looking for and who has one? Thanks in advance.

What water pumps are you running? I would assume they are the skinny ones if you are running a passenger fan. Wide belt pulleys will not work.

Those look like wide belt 8RT truck pumps which require the use of a 1949 Merc or truck fan.

Yes I am running 8RT truck pumps with wide belt. Understood that I need to use either the Merc fan I have now or a truck fan. The truck fans I've found also seem to be a couple inches too far forward. I guess at this point it's either start fabricating or just run it. @19Fordy - Thanks for the link to the fan you have for sale, but that one is even farther forward that what I'm running. I have that identical fan here, I think it's for a '53 pickup.
