Fan Blade

I am missing one of the parts that is under the fan. It is held on with 2 screws. Not sure how it could have gotten misplaced. Does anyone have some info on this part?

wickcopland: That fan looks pretty rusty. I had a fan blade that looked liked that break from the constant flexing that eventually caused a hairline crack and the fan blade literally flew apart. Part went thru the radiator and part thru the hood. I would not recommend using that fan blade.

I see a v shaped crack in your picture at 3 to 4 o'clock. What is the blob at 1 to 2 o'clock? It looks like some old welding. Recommend you get a better fan.

Wow! Didn't see that weld blob or crack. A sure indicator that you should not use that
"dicapitator" fan. Will fly apart without any warning. I was leaning over my front fender when mine broke. Thanks, fordyford, for noticing. You may have just saved someone's life.

Look your fan blade over real well if it's usable I have one of the quarter round nuts for the fan. Do you have the screws that go with it?

I do not know if I have the screws for it yet. Will have to put everything out on the table and search.
