I happened to be looking at an online listing of Model A's from Hemmings and read about a '30 roadster that claimed to have an F150 4 speed transmission and when looking at the pictures it showed the under side with the torque tube and pumpkin differential! Is that possible?

Here is some pictures.

yes I did build that one 1928 fire truck ,restored by aries restoration here in calif. all powder coat. the fire truck was outstanding!

I spent the better part of the winter installing my f150 kit from Dave. It's phenomenal, my S/W has been the only stick I've driven in years and first impression is how amazing synchromesh is and how I've lived without it. It did take a while to get used to the new gear shift pattern though, i almost drove right through my garage thinking I was in reverse when I was actually in first!

But I'll tell you, cruising down the highway at 55-60 and having the revs nice and low, makes it all worth it. For me, this opens so many more possibilities for my car and future driving plans.
