when putting f100 front brakes on a 39, what do you use to adapt the 1/4" hose to the 3/16" inlet on the f100 wheel cylinder? or do you use the f100 brake hose and adapt back at the steel lines?

There is a standard brass fitting available at napa to do the conversion. Or f1 and f100 use 3/16 lines so if you decide to run 3/16 steel lines using the f100 brake hose might be the right length.

Richard at the Early V-8 Garage has hoses that will go into the F-100 cylinders and take the 1/4 inch brake line

JAY MAINE you did not say if you want to keep the wide 5 wheels if you do the f100 brakes woun,t work as the f100 drum is wider. you have to use them. but you can use the 5 on 5 1/2 later wheels. this leaves two choices carry 2 spairs or change the rear drums to 5x51/2.
