F1 spring issue

Trying to determine if a switch to Posies 2 leaf front springs on my '50F1 would be cost effective. I have pulled about 1/2 the leaves out now and have been running that way for 4-5 yrs. Still rather harsh and bouncy what with new shocks too.
Any input from some one who has tried Posies?

Is it bottoming out on the bump stops or frame?
Are the shocks too long?

It shouldn't be harsh or bouncy with softer springs than normal and new shocks - maybe they're too soft and allowing things to bottom out, hence the harsh/bouncy ride.
