Anyone replaced a f1 gas tank? Best price I found was LMC about $200. are these USA made I wonder and should I etch and coat the inside to be safe? So much rust in old tank I clogged up CT Ken's new carb. Ken
 
I put an LMC gas tank in our '51 F-1. I did not coat it as I had done to the original gas tank because this "corn" gas was eating the coating and strands of it were showing up in the fuel pump glass bowl. The LMC tank is an exact replica of the original and everything fit just as if Ford built it.:eek:
