I have mounted complete f 1 brakes on my round back spindels. Bendix # 301917 .my proplem is the new brake drum wont touch the hub because the backing plate hits the back of the drum. Any one run into this? Dont really want to cut the drum.
You use to have to grind a radius on the inner bearing when adapting the later hubs to early spindles but I think now there is a bearing available that's has the radius to fit without grinding
anybody have the part number for the speedway bearing?

That I would have no idea about, I have always purchased the required inter bearing from a bearing supply and ground them myself....and unless Speedway has changed the inner bearing in it's kit recently; you still need to grind a radius for it to seat properly.
