F 100 steering play

Does the f 100 steering box for a model A have zero steering wheel play? Is it worm and sector or recirculating ball construction ?

They don't appear to be recirculating ball.

worm and sector, two adjustments on that box, the screw on top of the box, it has a lock nut on it, the other adjustment is on the bottom of the box, that adjusts the bearings for the shaft, add or remove gaskets to get the right preload on those bearings
