just added another 1951 F-1 to the motor pool. i am considering leaving the straight axle intact, just adding disc brakes to it.
what experience have you guys had with the various kits that are available. i am considering leaving the 5x5-1/2 bolt circle.
what is the easiest way to mount a dual master cylinder?
as always, i thank all of you for your time...jack

Call Chassis Engineering in Iowa. They have an adapter that will mount the dual MC to the stock pedal.

I have a front disc brake conversion on my stock axle (1951 F1). It was a kit from Sacremento Vintage Ford. It uses 4.5 X 5 bolt pattern Mopar rotors with intermediate GM calipers. The master cylinder is a 1978 Mustang II dual reservior disc/drum adapted to the original position. The rear brakes are stock drum.
