Exhaust pipe

How far back does the tail pipe go? Mine stops just over the rear axle. I assume it goes straight back to the rear....just past the bumper?

Just to the rear axle is std

It should hang just below and if front of the rear axle.
Some people have the tail pipe hanger mounted upside down.
