For Sale: An older, but EXCELLENT 21" Sears Allstate Safety Tread tire for late 1925-27 Model T's with 21" wood spokes or wire wheels, and for 1928-29 Model A's. Virtually no wear on the zig-zag tread. NO sidewall cracking that I can see. Still soft and supple rubber. This tire was probably mounted on a car as a spare and saw very little if any use. The camera flash over-emphasizes sidewall aging, as the sidewalls are still nice and uniformly black. The size dimensions on the sidewall are as follows: 4.40/4.50/5.00/5.25-21. This is the pattern tire almost everyone has on his driver Model A or T. They are usually rock hard by now and cracked on the sidewall. Not this one! These tires are not made any more, so if you need to complete a set or want a VERY GOOD extra tire for future use, this is the one to get. For all intents and purposes, it's as close to being a new tire as one can expect to find among a brand no longer being produced. $35 plus actual shipping cost within the USA.
