EVANS repro 8ba heads

[arkusvt]

A couple of years ago there was a good thread on these, since then I found nothing. Wondering if any forum members have used them and/or have any more thoughts, pros or cons.

I found this, that wasn't in the original thread. https://myflatheadford.com/ws-new-evans-heads/. It looks like they're still making and selling them (8 sets have been sold per the eBay listing). The price has gone up, but not to a ridiculous extent. It seems odd to me that no one has posted anything anywhere, unless their experience was less than expected.

is 65cc more volume then stock ? The look like they would clear the bigger valves. and the price is right.

I’m guessing with the price point people are going towards the more well known brands like Edelbrock. Hard to compete with a company that has been around for many years, with a good reputation for their heads as far as I know.
