Ethanol

Much has been written about what ethanol does to our older cars. I received an email today from the Antique Automobile Club that listed some "facts" from a company named Bell Performance. Apparently, this company makes a product called Ethanol Defense that helps curtail the corrosive effects of Ethanol. Here is the website: www.EthanolDefense.com. This is the first time that I've heard of this product and I couldn't find many reviews on the net. It looks like it's reasonably priced and I did notice that it's carried by Amazon but their price was the same as the price at the EthanolDefense website. If anyone has tried it please give us a review. Bob

The boating guys have been using Startron for years to combat the ethanol in gas - I use it all the time and it's pretty cheap - 1 oz (a capfull) per 10 gallons I believe.

Saw some sta-bil that stated on the label it was for ethanol. I have been useing the marine grade (blue) for a few years & have never had a problem.
