I have 2 97's and they are leaking the gas out of the bowls overnight.Making it hard to start the next day and a little hard to crank after running it a few miles and trying to recrank after it sits for 5 minutes like it is flooding.Had these on for a couple years.Found this out as I was going to check the float level,Ran it with top off and left it overnight .Then today the bowls were empty. Thanks for help.

I had the same problem.Put some Hylomar Blue on those tiny gaskets of the 3 bowl cap screws and the leaks should stop. It was recommended by Clive at Stromberg 97 in UK.

It could be the power valves. I had this happen to me on one of mine (I'm running 2x97's). Odd that it's doing it on both of yours.

Both had fuel in the power valve holes but it had leaked down just below the slot where the pump slides.Changed the jets and power valves last night. Will try to run it later today

put new power valves and 40 jets but it stumbles in 2nd so will change PV back to the ones I took out.Had 65's in and put 62's I think. But didn't have stumble in 2nd.Thanks
