Hello,
I have searched but cannot find anything and I need some help! I broke a piston on my Model A and have installed new pistons, new rings, new timing gear, and new head gasket, I made sure that the number 1 piston was at the top of the stroke and buttoned everything back up.
Set the points and made sure the rotor button was set right and tried to crank the engine. The engine turns over but does not try to fire. The rotor button turns and I am getting spark to the sparkplugs - verified by moving the sp wire just beside the contact and I can see the spark.. I even drained and replaced the gas and rebuilt the carburator. Still no luck.
Anybody got any ideas? This is driving me crazy...
