Just wondering: will rustoleum and JD green handle the heat from the engine OK ?
I can't seem to find Rustoleum "flag blue" anywhere..... is that a discontinued color?
What about Canadian Engine color?
Anyone have a color mix recipe for that??
Thnx
Lol.... we Canadians are taught to spell it as colour....but for some reason, I've always used color...
I'm itching to start painting....
I mix my own 'cause the dealers charge too much for spray cans.
Mike V 's combination is very - very close 2 parts Rustoleun Forest Green, 1 part flag blue, 1 part black. I bough quarts of each and mix a baby food jar at the time. Keep it sealed - tight. kenb
$15.95 a pint.
The problem with home made is it looks homemade. A spray can of engine paint is $6.95 at Snyders or $15.95 a pint can. I can't believe most people can't afford this. Wayne
That Buick green looks a little lighter doesn't it? I have a hard time seeing some shades, so this is tricky for me.Painted with paint from Snyders in the pint can. I don't know how accurate it is from a historical perspective but think it looks great.
