I'm back.... I spent the weekend getting the timing figured out on my car. I finally got it running pretty well. I think I got the timing figured out. I was adjusting the timing, then driving it around the block to test it out. The last time I timed it today and took it out, it ran great. But about three blocks from the house it started to knock. Very lightly, then louder and louder. I quickly got the car home and let it cool off. I gave the timing one more try, just to make sure the pistons were not hitting the the top of the block because of no spark. But the knock is still there. I took a quick video of it to replay at my computer. It sounds like the knocking picks up in volume then dies back down. Then repeats.
I noticed that my water pump is dripping a lot more then usual after the knocking started. Can someone please take a look at this video and give their expert opinion? I would appreciate it.
