Engine fan replacement 1930 Model A

KCW,,, as an a-side,,,,, That is the reason why it is a good practice, when the hood is open and the motor running, on any Model A Ford, to not stand in the 'line of fire' in case that fan blade lets loose. It becomes a tomahawk and could imbed itself into the frontal bone in your skull:)
Advice from Tonto. Ugh.

I don't think anyone mentioned it but make sure you do not tighten the belt too tight or you will be replacing the water pump. My first car was a 1967 RS Camaro and in just a few years I had replaced the water pump like 3 times. Now as I look back with more experience the cause was probably me because back then I would tighten the belts so tight you could probably play a diddy on them and a too tight belt results in failed bearings and seals.
