engine color

Guys,
Does anyone know the correct engine color for a 1950 Merc M68 pickup and where to get it. The truck currently has a blue EAC motor. Would that be correct?

From what I read, it should be Green. And an EAC motor is not original to the truck?
The only blue motors were late '49 and earlier Ford it appears.
I'm not an expert, just getting my info from Van Pelts.
