I am looking for a good engine builder (for the Model A engine) in the Sacramento area. Or within a short (half day) drive of Sacramento. If anybody knows of who to contact, please let me know.

The half day's drive includes the SF Bay area, as well as the north end of the valley near Red Bluff. If I have to drive for more than half a day then I am going to H&H is So Cal.

Chris,
There's a young guy in TURLOCK that has been building A/B/Ts, and I think falt V8. Reed Restorations is what he called the business in past years. You might investigate his business, as he is a lot closer than LA.
I'm not recommending anyone, but he is closer!
 
There is also Cal's engine rebuilding in Oakdale. He has been doing a engines for a long time and there was an article about the shop in the Model a times awhile back. But I am not recommending anybody because I have not had an engine rebuilt by him or Reed. Richard/Ca
