Emergency Brake

The 1937 coupe I recently purchased has no cables for the emergency brake. The hand lever under the driver side of dash is there, but nothing else. The coupe is running with a 1957 chevy rearend. I live in an area where wrecking yards are not too plentiful, so a good source for cables and equalizer would be helpful.
Thanks,

You can get the cable and equalizer from any big repro house. I found them in the C&G catalog. Since you are running a Chevy open drive rear end, you need to fabricate an end to the emergency brake cable. I attached a piece of 1 1/2 angle iron with a 1 inch hole (I think) for the cable to the X-member to replace the original bracket on the torque tube.
