Emergency Brake ??'s 36 pickup

I don't have experience with a 36 so please forgive me for sounding unedumacated.
Here is a picture of the inside of my 36 truck. I don't see a parking brake handle.


Here is a picture of the trans I was planning to use. Again, no visible parking brake handle.


I plan on using a complete 38 chassis and drivetrain and putting my 36 body on it. How the heck does the parking brake supposed to work?

I was sort of thinking it should be like the one on this-a-her Ebay ad:

Scott, go on the Early Ford V8 website www/earlyfordv8.org and order a copy of the 35-36 Ford Book by Don Rogers. About $30.00 I think. Well written and it will answer most of your mechanical questions about your pick up. I am writing the book on the 35-36 Ford Pickup Truck, alolng with Jerry Grayson, but it is sort of in Limbo at the present time. It is probably over 2/3 finished. I will be glad to try and answer any questiions pertaining to the pickup as you get further into your project. The one on ebay doesn't have the correct transmission mount or E brake lever. Lawson

Scott, The 36 pickup has a different rear transmission mount that has two Bolt holes on the right side to mount the brake lever. Look under the metal floorplate on the right side of the transmission,Looks like the hole for the lever has been partially covered.

Thanks to you both for your speedy replies.

I'm not sure the 35/36 book will help me with the chassis as I am using a complete 38 car frame with suspension, steering, brakes, etc.

I'll move the floor pan when I get a chance and see what's under there.
